From a young age, I naturally became the person my friends turned to for sharing secrets and navigating life's difficulties. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, I moved to the U.S. alone at 18, where I faced social anxiety, isolation, and an identity crisis. These personal struggles ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in mental health counseling.

Guided by Nietzsche's quote, "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how," I find my work with clients deeply meaningful and am passionate about helping others discover their own sense of purpose.

I enjoy working with adults and couples from immigrant families, valuing their familial cultural backgrounds and their connection to Western culture. I believe that reflecting on the past and resolving trauma are crucial for getting "unstuck" and creating a meaningful future. With a degree in neuroscience, I approach mental health from a physiological perspective, integrating practical behavioral solutions alongside psychological work. I am trained in EMDR, Jungian psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and Gottman's Method.
